Our Team

Tony Post, Founder and CEO

Hometown: Golden, CO (But New England has been home for the last 30+ years)
When I am not at the office, you can find me: Outside running, mountain biking, road riding, skiing, hiking…
My favorite thing about working at Topo is: Working with a small team to build all the aspects of a successful business from scratch, and of course I love working on product.
I’m most proud of/My greatest accomplishment is: I have a great family, I don't know that I can claim that as an accomplishment, but I'm really proud of them — great people!
My favorite Topo shoe is (and why): The next one — anyone in the shoe business understands this, 'wait until you see what comes next!'
My favorite pump-up jam is: Being old ;), I have musical taste that spans 5 decades, so it really depends on what hits me emotionally that day: Stevie Wonder, Led Zeppelin, Radiohead, Beirut, Fleet Foxes, for long winter runs I often listen to Boniver.

Georgia Shaw, Director of Marketing

Hometown: Providence, RI (Home of Dell's Lemonade and political corruption—Rhody Pride!)

When I am not at the office, you can find me:  At CrossFit, on a trail, or on a plane

My favorite thing about working at Topo is: the opportunity to be entrepreneurial every single day and contribute to the creation of products that are GOOD FOR YOU.  It's not always easy, but I always wake up knowing that I love and believe in what I do.

My #1 Goal for 2016 is: Write 1 postcard a week to someone I care about.  Run a 10k (in under 51 min.)  Wait, that's 2 things..ah, whatever.

My favorite Topo shoe is (and why): The Halsa: because this

My most unique skill is: parallel parking. Seriously, I don't mean to brag, but I'm REALLY good.

The most amazing place I have ever traveled to is: India

Something you wouldn’t know by looking at me is:  I own every season of the Golden Girls on DVD.

Natalie Riley, Vice President of Finance & Operations

Hometown: Maynard, MA

When I am not at the office, you can find me: Spending time with my husband and kids, running or at Crossfit Franklin

My favorite thing about working at Topo is: So many things – the people, the environment and all the free shoes!

My #1 Goal for 2016 is: Stay healthy - elevate both my running (get faster) and CrossFit (get stronger).

My favorite Topo shoe is (and why): The Tribute – I love the platform and responsiveness. Plus, it looks really good.

The most amazing place I have ever traveled to is: Maui – so beautiful. I can’t wait to go back. I’ve also been to 3 Super Bowls – those were completely amazing in a different way.

I’m most proud of/My greatest accomplishment is: My 2 kids. They are hilarious and amazing little kids. I’m also proud of having run 8 half marathons. I was not a runner until later in life, so it just amazes me that I chose to run 13 miles voluntarily. 8 times.

Tara Caley, Operations and Service Specialist

Hometown:  North Salem, NY

When I am not at the office, you can find me: training for my next triathlon or at the park, playing with my dog.

My favorite thing about working at Topo is: working with a small team of athletes to build a new brand, and testing all of the new models!

My #1 Goal for 2016 is: to PR in each race I compete in.  I have struggled with injuries over the past couple of years which has prevented me from reaching my potential.  Ultimately, my focus is to improve my mobility and stability to aid in injury prevention, and get stronger and faster.

My favorite Topo shoe is (and why): the Fli-Lyte.  While I love to rotate between the Tribute for speed work and the Magnifly for long/easy runs, I always find myself coming back to the Fli-lyte for its responsive ride.  It’s my go-to shoe for racing.

I’m inspired by: My husband, Mike, who recently earned a slot to the Ironman World Championship in Kona, HI.  He is the most focused and self-motivated person I know.  When he sets his mind to something, he works tirelessly to achieve it.  Watching him achieve his Ironman dream was a very proud and inspirational moment for me.

I’m most proud of/My greatest accomplishment is:  It’s a toss-up between earning my law degree followed by passing the MA bar and crossing the finish line of the Santa Rosa Marathon with a Boston Qualifying time.

Kristine David, Public Relations

Hometown: Pleasanton, California

When I am not at the office, you can find me: Trying to conquer a body of water, a rock wall, my fear of cycling, or my love-hate relationship with running, all with my active partners in crime: the hubby and my baby girl.

My favorite thing about working at Topo is: Watching an idea evolve into a movement and having the opportunity to work with a very talented, fun-loving and passionate team.

My #1 Goal for 2016 is: Keep moving: good health is the greatest gift you can give yourself and those you love.

My favorite Topo shoe is (and why): The Tribute because, like the perfect pair of yoga pants, they make you feel like a million bucks, which makes you want to train that much harder!

I’m inspired by: The grandmas that pass me while I’m running the marathon – there’s always at least one at every race. I want to be them 30 years from now.

My favorite pump-up jam is: The 300 soundtrack, no joke. Working out to me is like going to battle! Otherwise, my workout playlist is full of trap, EDM and Lady Gaga/Britney/Nicki Minaj mixes.

I’m most proud of/My greatest accomplishment is: I never played sports growing up (I was a big nerd that spent hours practicing piano instead) and fitness was never encouraged in my family, so I’m most proud of my commitment to adopting an active lifestyle after graduating college.

When I am not at the office, you can find me: Outdoors; hiking biking, skiing swimming you name it!

My favorite thing about working at Topo is: The vision and working with a team that is truly passionate about what they do.

My #1 Goal for 2016 is: Focusing on Family and Friends, and staying connected. It is so important because in the end the people you love are what really matter in life.

My favorite Topo shoe is (and why): The Halsa; it keeps my foot locked in place while I dance around in Zumba class!

My favorite sports are: Skiing, Hiking, and Swimming.

The most amazing place I have ever traveled too is: Italy, it is a beautiful country filled with so much amazing food! I would love the opportunity to go back and meet my family that is still there.
